This food fund is to help my friend Fadi and his family get access to groceries which are now being sold at disaster prices.
Hi, I’m Shivam, I live in Canada and have been friends with Fadi since December 2024. He first reached out to me as part of a fundraiser he was organizing to feed his neighbours through mutual aid for clean water, flour, and fuel deliveries. Since then, he has also worked on community aid initiatives to raise food for Ramadan and both Eids. Fadi is a social worker and loving father who, like so many of us, wakes up every morning to try and make this world a better place for his kids. He and his kids, Saddam and Hana, have now been forcibly displaced countless times over due to the occupation’s unending bombing and carnage.
I, like so many of us, feel helpless as means of getting food into Gaza are being eliminated. So all we can do is raise the funds that the strong and persevering Palestinians in Gaza need to continue buying groceries at exhorbitant prices.
